I was born and mostly raised in the small town of Stettler, AB and while I was in theatre, drama and television arts classes, and on the improv team, I truly never thought that acting in film/tv was actually possible. Like, something you could do as a job. That was so far away from the little world of Stettler that I knew and grew up in. So, I was just doing it for the fun of it and because I loved it.

Fast forward to 7 years of living in Vancouver, BC, I am now a self-proclaimed actor, producer, director, writer and jess-of-all-trades taking on every side quest that I can.

My motto is live your life, and that’s exactly what I get to do when I’m acting and making films. I get to live and build these lives and worlds of these characters and do things that I’ve always wanted to do or be.

Another reason why I love acting? Words have always been hard for me. Through acting, I am given the words, permission and encouragement to say the things that I may have felt but sometimes didn’t know how to express myself.

But mostly, because just like I thought when I was in high school, acting and filmmaking is so friggen fun. I am constantly inspired by things that I see and it makes me want to make things! So here I am, makin things, hoping that someone gets inspired too.
